I may be the last person in the world to find out about this, but the Wicked Witch, Sara M., is no longer the moderator of TWOP's House
If this link works, here
is a post from the new moderator.
Wonder what would happen if someone asked her to bring back the fanfic discussion thread...and, of course, reinstate Sheepy and anyone else booted in fanficdiscussiongate.

I'm bored, and there hasn't been any activity in this comm all week! So let's have a House-Dogs Roll Call. Report in with what you're up to, something we can talk about, etc.

I need help from somebody who is good with el-jay layouts. I can't get mine to work (go check out my page, everything is off) and I can't figure out why!!! AHHHHH! Do any of y'all know what to do or how to help me? Or a good site that gives premade lj layouts that don't screw up my main page?

SO I was bored in Organizational Management (as always) and soon found myself drawing this picture of Chase.
With the way I drew Chase and how I used highlighters becuase of my lack of markers, I soon realized there was only one way to describe this picture....Chase Learns The Truth
It looks more vibrant and freaky in person. I decided I'm going to auction it like an art person. Seriously, if you want the pic just place a bid.
Bidding starts at $0.01 US dollars (I'll accept Aussie dollars too). You will NOT have to pay for shipping.
Oh, and yes, I HAVE lost my mind.
I've just started reading this long House-and-Wilson hurt/comfort epic by kidsnurse
. The first part (32 chapters long) is called "The Devil, You Say." It's about Cuddy and Wilson cooking up a strategy to deal with House's increasing pain, and how they deal with what comes next. Very, very, very good.
It's here: http://kidsnurse.livejournal.com/1816.html#cutid1

I'll post some thoughts about tonight's epi in a bit.
Let's try to keep details of the episode off the main page until our antipodean compadres have had a chance to see it.
And--Sheep, you will be glad to know that this episode guest-stars two Very Special Beanies! I won't say more until you've had a chance to see their delicious performance for yourself.

So I looked at Sara M's blog* comments to see what she said in response to comments made by some-people-who-are-certainly-not-us,

Discussion Question #1
Well, I figured it'd be cool if we started weekly discussions. I'm not sure if I'm going to make them all apply to Tee-Wop or House some how, but I will just to start off. If you have an idea for a discussion question, add it to the bottom of your response.
First question will relate to TWoP (indirectly).
Do people really have freedom of speech and other rights while on the internet? Why or why not?
Discussion is now open. Let's make it a good one!
Thinking ahead? Here's next week's question so, if you feel the need, you can prepare.
Were Wilson's actions in Finding Judas and Merry Little Christmas justified, particularly his betrayal of House? Current Mood: contemplative

Teh Evil Place has gone offline "for maintenence."
Some part of me is gleeful about this.
An even smaller part secretly believes that the force of our hatred has vanquished them.

Fandom Recs Post
Since the TWOP board was one of the main places I participated in House fandom, I'm feeling a little excluded and a little down on the whole thing--anyone else feeling the same?
Let's post some suggestions for House-related stuff that might cheer us up--whether communities, other forums, specific fics, or anything else House.
I'll kick us off with a few recs behind the cut. http://community.livejournal.com/mspaint_lolz/
has the cracktastic comic HOWSE --not quite as wonderful as our own DIYSheep's Dr. Scruffy, but funny in its own way. http://community.livejournal.com/lilhouse/
is another comic--which, sadly, has not been updated in a while. http://thinlysliced.livejournal.com/2897.html
here is an MST of that fic where the team goes to Africa and the natives marvel at the Great Metal Bird.
Jenniffer: *is here* You know what, y'all? People suck.
The now with 20 percent less typos recap
Whoo hoo peeps. I am stoked. Came home today to find the new episode had magically appeared on my computer.
So here we have the rebel alliance of recaps. Ah wells - whats can yous dos except tell half the Australians publics what a twonker Sarah M is (you should have seen what I did to the chemist):
For me it was a bit of a wham bam thank you mam thing, but I am sure Sarah M is enjoying getting running updates of all the films I have to review - still not over the beanie or the surreal Italian film.
The not very informative recap of the first five minutes of Needle in a Haystack.http://diysheep.livejournal.com/13685.html
Alex, I love you, more than netspeak can say!
I am sharing my banned story.
As a n00b some months back I was mostly sticking to the Corrupt a Wish thread, as it was silly fun and I didn't want to venture out of a comfortable space. I had just reread Lynn Truss' "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" and was feeling a bit rebelious, so I wasn't using capital letters at all (my typing skills at the time were also a bit lacking), I happily posted several times a day for at least a month, if not two, before an admin. decided that I was flouting convention too much and gave me a warn, which turned into a boot when I didn't acknowledge it for a few days (I was out of town). Thus ended the first TWoP incarnation of sleepyheathen, followed by a second one who didn't get banned, but did get into a few scuffles that ought to have been broken up by admin. and was thus abandoned, sleepy is now on her third incarnation as a shy and rule abiding n00b, who avoids the ep threads and doesn't read the recaps.
And I think this is short enough not to put behind an LJ cut. If not, too bad, I'm lazy! Current Mood: sick

If you like, post your "How I Got Banned" Story here.
"How I got warned"
"How my friend got banned/warned" and
"How I witnessed an injustice" stories are A-OK too.
But no criticizing me! Or I will ban you! **evil cackle*
Dear Everyone: This is a community created at the special request of JenButterfly as a sret clubhouse for people Sara M. banned from Tee-WOP. I don't know what we'll do here, but everyone in the banned group is fun and cool, so maybe we'll come up with something.
I've invited everyone who posted to the "Banned from T-Wop" thread over at my personal writing journal. Of course, you are welcome to ignore the invitation if it is unwelcome.
Non-banned Allies of the Banned Community are also welcome.
If you feel like posting, perhaps a description of what got you banned would be apropos.
